Band

A youth band performs on stage, with a conductor leading the musicians.

The Northborough Public Schools Band Program offers students a hands-on experience that teaches the basic performance skills needed to play in school ensembles and complements the learning that takes place in the general music classroom. Participation in the band program develops musicianship, fosters creative thinking, and provides students with a means of self-expression.

Band lessons and rehearsals will take place on Wednesdays.  Group lessons will be 30 minutes in length and take place on a rotating schedule.  Full band will rehearse from 2:00-2:40 PM on Wednesday afternoons.
